The journey includes Lalbagh Fort, the Armenian Church, Star Mosque and Sadarghat, connected through selected heritage lanes and a traditional rickshaw experience. A freshly prepared Bangladeshi lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant is included. The meal is intended to introduce guests to the flavours of Dhaka and traditional Bangladeshi cuisine in a comfortable local setting. Bottled drinking water is provided throughout the tour.
Vegetarian and other dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice, subject to local availability.

This is a one-day experience and does not include overnight accommodation. Guests stay at their own hotel or accommodation in Dhaka.

Getting there

The experience starts and ends in Dhaka. Guests staying within the standard Dhaka service area can be picked up directly from their hotel or agreed accommodation. Private transportation is used for the main road transfers, while walking and traditional rickshaw travel are used within the historic areas of Old Dhaka.
Pickup from locations outside the standard service area can be arranged upon request and may involve an additional charge.

Tour Itinery
08:00 AM – Hotel Pickup & Departure
Meet your guide and driver at your Dhaka hotel or agreed pickup point. After a short introduction to the day's route, travel towards historic Old Dhaka.
09:00 AM – Lalbagh Fort
● Begin the heritage experience at Lalbagh Fort, the unfinished Mughal fort complex of Old Dhaka.
● Explore the fort's gardens and principal surviving structures while learning about Mughal Dhaka, its architecture and the historical story behind the complex.
10:30 AM – Old Dhaka Heritage Streets & Rickshaw Experience
● Continue towards the historic neighbourhoods of Old Dhaka by traditional cycle rickshaw and on foot.
● Along the way, experience narrow streets, traditional shops, markets, old buildings and the everyday rhythm of one of Bangladesh's oldest urban areas.
11:15 AM – Armenian Church
● Visit the historic Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection in Armanitola, subject to access.
● Learn about Dhaka's historic Armenian community and its role in the city's commercial and cultural development.
12:00 PM – Star Mosque
● Continue to Star Mosque (Tara Masjid) and admire its distinctive star-patterned decorative work and architectural details.
● Visits are subject to prayer schedules and local religious access regulations.
01:00 PM – Traditional Bangladeshi Lunch
● Enjoy lunch at a selected local restaurant in or around Old Dhaka.
● This is also an opportunity to discuss the city's food culture and the historical influence of Old Dhaka's diverse communities.
02:00 PM – Old Dhaka Cultural & Architectural Walk
● Continue through selected historic streets and neighbourhoods.
● Depending on the day's conditions and available time, the guide may introduce guests to traditional markets, artisan areas, historic buildings and other lesser-known elements of Old Dhaka.
03:30 PM – Sadarghat & Buriganga Waterfront
● Continue to Sadarghat, one of Dhaka's most important historic riverfront areas.
● Observe the constant movement of passenger launches, small boats, traders and riverside communities while learning about the Buriganga's importance to Dhaka's historical trade and urban development.
A short traditional boat ride may be arranged as an optional experience, subject to availability, safety and local conditions.
04:30–05:30 PM – Return to Hotel
Depart Sadarghat by private vehicle and return to the guest's hotel or agreed drop-off point.
End of the experience.

Cancellation conditions depend on the booking date, advance payment, confirmed suppliers and any non-refundable commitments made for the tour.
Where applicable, non-refundable charges already incurred for transportation, entrance arrangements, restaurants or other third-party services may be deducted from the refundable amount.
The final cancellation, amendment and refund conditions will be provided with the booking confirmation.
